IR at his best as usual and even Bhava sounds better which won her the national award. I have tried to render my best. Pls note I am singing after 5 years, so tech musicians, pls forgive any mistakes.

Murali - Thanks for visiting my blog and your comments too. Yes my recording set up is not that great as yet. But slowly I will improve. Infact I extensively used your recording tips (posted in your blog) for my next song Ennulle Ennulle. Pls do listen to that and comment.
Yet another haunting melody from the hit combo – SJ-KJY-IR. I hate the picturisation and the choreography of this song (Sorry Devan, I know you like the video of this song), but that does not knock the song from my fav list :) When I was researching for the raga of this song, found out this is based on Pahadi and found some others based on the same raga. ‘Ninaithathu Yaaro’ in Paattuku Oru Thalaivan, ‘Ore Naal Unnai Naan’ in Ilamai Oonjalaadugirathu, ‘Edhedho Ennam Valarthen’ in Punnagai Mannan, ‘Raasaave Onnai Nambi’ in Muthal Mariyaathi, ‘Seer Kondu Vaa’ in Naan Paadum Paadal, ‘Intha Maan Unthan Sontha Maan’ in Karagattakaran and ‘Vaigai Nathiyoram’ in Rickshaw Mama. Never ever found any resemblance between these songs, should I even tell Raja is a genius? :) Ok ok I hear "Now enough of your gyan’. Please let us know how we did by leaving your comments here Song: Enge En Jeevane Movie: Uyarndha Ullam Singers: K J Yesudas and S Janaki Lyrics: Vairamuthu Ragam: Pahadi Enge En Jeev...
Yet another gem from Raja's stable. SJ the 'Expression Queen' captures the emotions of a girl who sings with 'ekkam' for her beloved (none other than our Raj Kiran). Idha vida azhaga adhukku oru tune eppidi poda mudium. I have always liked Raj Kirans' movies (ellam oru mari paakadeenga) 1. He mostly used IR for his films 2. For the nativity. This film especially has commendable re-recording by IR. However, ennoda indha version kekkara madiri irukaannu sollunga. Song: Rasave unnai vida matten Film: Aranmanai Kili Singer: S Janaki Lyrics: Vaali Rasave unnai vidamatten | Music Codes
Yet another IR number. This is a beautiful folk that IR has delivered and his love for western music is clearly depicted through this classic inspiration. This song is originally by Antonio Ruiz-Pipo, one of the greatest European virtuoso pianist and composer. Its a treat to listen to this guitar notes and realize how this western classical has transformed into an Indian folk ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iy_Yx0cLd5o ) Now coming back to my rendition, I sat with this song thinking its an easy go and ended up with atleast 15 takes . Trust me, its a really tricky song wrt ups and downs while maintaining that taalam in samam. I really was startled as to how SJ sang it with so ease and how the legend composed it. I am actually getting out of cold and you could easily identify it with my 'karakara' throat. As usual have mixing problems, punching problems and I am a bad tailor still stitching things together . Pls bear with me. Appreciate your honest feedback. Song Name: Endha Poo...
